Killeen ISD high school theater students earned state and national honors, callbacks and scholarship offers during a state thespian festival during the Thanksgiving break.
Chaparral High School Bobcat Drama continued its record-breaking ways at the Texas Thespian State Festival with more than $1 million in college scholarship offers and numerous state and national awards.
Bobcat Drama recorded 12 National Qualifying Student Performers and Technicians, two All-State Company Members, an Improv Challenge All-Star, a Disney Callback, a Main Stage Callback (a National Qualifier with a perfect score), 258 college callbacks and over $1 million in college scholarship offers.
Eight theater students from Ellison attended and five of them earned national qualifier status in their individual events.

Killeen HS Roo Drama:
Killeen High School senior Eliel Santiago submitted a college audition and received 10 callbacks for college musical theatre programs. He also competed in a Thespy for Solo Musical, and his performance received a superior score. He is a national qualifier for Solo Musical.
