Congratulations to all five KISD High Schools for cleaning up at this year's Texas Thespian State Festival. Our students took home 21 top awards in eight different categories, they learned from top industry professionals from across the country, received over 200 college & career call backs and were even selected for leadership positions on and off the Main Stage Performance as well as leading the festival as a State Thespian Officer. We are proud of our students' accomplishments. For many of them, this was their first time attending this event. Several art students from Killeen High School were selected to exhibit their work in the Temple College Art Show. This competitive event is open to high school and college students throughout Central Texas. Congratulations to Milaidy Rosado, Darla Segura and Canon Pusley. Canon's piece "Sleepless Dreamer" also received a Merit Award. The artwork is on display at Temple College through December 2nd.
